SJM MACAO OPEN CONFIRMED FOR OCTOBER 2024
22 December 2023 – Organisers and SJM Resorts confirmed that the SJM MACAO OPEN will be held from 10th to 13th October 2024 at the renowned Macau Golf and Country Club. Marking its 21st edition, this popular and esteemed tournament, co-organised by the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government and sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Golf Association of Macau, will once again showcase a formidable local and international player field competing for the USD 1 million prize purse.
In its rich 20-year history, the Macao Open has been a top attraction for golf fans across the region, drawing in many of the sport’s biggest names, including the 2023 Champion Min Woo Lee, major champions Ernie Els and Ian Woosnam, and internationally acclaimed players Lee Westwood, Branden Grace, Ian Poulter and Li Haotong. The tournament has also proudly featured some of the finest Asian Tour stars, including Scott Hend, Gaganjeet Bhullar and recent Asian Games Champion Taichi Kho.
